At Lucan Dental we accept all insurance companies including social services coverage. We are primarily a non- assignment office which means that the insurance company will send payment to the insured and clients pay us at the time of treatment unless other arrangements such as postdated payments have been discussed. As a courtesy, we submit claims to your insurance company directly following your treatment allowing you to receive your payments more quickly. For accounts in good standing we will allow the insurance companies to pay us (aka direct billing) so that the client only pays us what isn't covered by insurance.
At Lucan Dental we understand that paying for dental treatment can cause a great deal of stress. To help ease the burden for you, we offer payment plan options for accounts in good standing. This can be discussed with our administrative department. We accept payment by cheque, cash, debit, e-transfers, Mastercard and Visa. Please allow us to see what we can do to serve you.
Yes! We will be happy to support our patients by utilizing the new CDCP in our office.
We are hopeful that our participation will begin after July 8, 2024 as we are awaiting further details. It is important to understand that this is not a free dental program but rather a form of subsidy. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office. 519-227-4483.
